Miss Pole Dance UK and Mr Pole Fitness both abide by the
World Pole Federation
CATEGORIES
Please note: you can enter more than one of the following categories, only one application per person in the same category.
Additional points in all categories will be awarded for costumes, props and performance. Please adapt your costume for your video performance.
Category 1 : - Miss Pole Dance UK Children.
All moves accepted, open to boys and girls.
Music Length 3.00-4.00 minutes - Children’s category Ages 8-11
Category 2 : - Miss Pole Dance UK Youth.
All moves accepted, open to boys and girls.
Music Length 3.00-4.00 minutes - Youth category Ages 12-15
Category 3 : - Miss Pole Dance UK Male and Female Amateur.
All moves accepted, open to males and females
Music Length 3.00-5.00 minutes - Category Age over 16years, less than 5 competitions - no inverts, upside down moves on the pole
Open to beginner pole students who are minimum of 16 years old, have been learning pole for less than 24 months in total and have never been paid to teach or taught unsupervised or performed. No inverts OR UPSIDE DOWN MOVES ON THE POLE allowed (no head below hips) Inverts where one or more limbs are in contact with the floor are allowed. Not open to instructors or anyone who has instructed a POLE class either in person or online– additional points will be awarded for costume, props and performance.
Category 4 : - Miss Pole Dance UK Female Semi Pro
- less than 5 pole competition experience, any pole move accepted for instructors and students.
Music Length 3.00-5.00 minutes - Category Age over 18 years
Category 5 : - Mr Pole Fitness UK Male Semi Pro
- less than 5 pole competition experience, any pole move accepted for instructors and students.
Music Length 3.00-5.00 minutes - Category Age over 18 years
Category 6 : - Miss Pole Dance UK Semi Pro Doubles
- less than 5 pole competition experience, any pole move accepted for instructors and students. Same or mixed gender
Music Length 3.00-5.00 minutes - Category Age over 18 years

PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY
You must be 18 or over on the competition date
You may have been poling for any length of time
You may be a student or instructor
You can apply at any level although the standard expected is high
This category has a pre selection video round. Successful applicants will be invited to compete in the finals
Once you have entered the Miss Pole Dance Professional category you may not go back to semi-professional category unless you have not entered ANY pole competitions for a period of 5 YEARS
